Location: The ranch is located thirteen miles northeast of Rocksprings and lies three miles east of US Highway 377 on county road #140.
This unique ranch has county road frontage along the north and east boundary.
Terrain: The topography is typical Edwards Plateau country with broad level areas, scenic low hills and wide valley terrain between hills. The land has a good cover of live oak trees, scattered cedar, agarita, persimmon, mountain laurel and other shrubs native to the area. This area of Edwards county is considered stron grass country. There is a good stand of KR Bluestem, side oats gramma, needle grass, fall switch grass, and native drop seed grass on the ranch.
Water: There is one water well equipped with submersible pump located near the headquarters.
Improvements: A neat one room cabin with bath house is located near the west boundary line of the ranch.
Hunting: There are numerous game trails on the ranch. Blackbuck antelope, axis deer, fallow deer, wild hogs, whitetail and turkey are the prominent wildlife on the property. There are game feeders that provide feed year round for the game. The 240 acres is part of the original 5,000 acre Hal Bradford game ranch.
Mr. Bradford fed his game year round long before wildlife feeding became popular. The ranch was one of the first ranches to be stocked with blackbuck antelope and other exotic game animals. The Roberts Ranch joins the original Bradford headquarters along the west boundary.

The ranch currently qualifies for 1-d-1 Ag. Use tax base under wildlife game management. The county and school taxes are approximately $1.25 per acre per year.
