Location: The Silverhorn Ranch is located about 23 miles southwest of Rocksprings on the southern tip of the Edwards Plateau between the Nueces water shed and the West Prong water shed area. The ranch has scattered low rolling hills and limestone outcroppings. The west portion of the land breaks off to rolling hills that drain into the West Prong of the Nueces River basin. There is a good cover of live oak, some pinion pine, shin oak, Spanish oak, mountain laurel and cedar. The ranch is remote, quiet and peaceful and is surrounded by large ranches, including an adjoining 66,000 acre ranch.

Falling Waters RanchAccess: There are two routes to the Silverhorn ranch: From Rocksprings take State HWY 55 south for five miles and turn right at the Edwards County airport on White Mountain Road (County Road #310) for approximately 20 miles, where you enter Silverhorn Ranch at the bump gate. From Barksdale take State HWY 55 North and at 3 miles turn left on the Cedar Creek Road (County Road #350) for 12.5 miles. The county road continues through the ranch for 4 miles.

Falling Waters RanchHunting: This area of Edwards County is well known for excellent hunting. Whitetail deer, turkey and wild hogs are the prevalent species of game animals and varmints including ringtail cats, raccoons, grey fox, bobcats and an occasional mountain lion or coyote as the primary predators found in the area.

Taxes: Property taxes have been about 80 cents per acre with 1-D-1 agriculture use exemption.
